North American Regional Executive: Yenny Delgado
Yenny Delgado is the Regional Executive for North America and acts as the face of the Region, building partnerships with other ecumenical and justice-oriented groups, connecting the Region with the rest of the Global Federation. Additionally, her role is to empower students within the member movements and local units, as well as overseeing the day-to-day business aspects of running the non-profit organization.
She is a member of the Presbyterian Church of the USA. Originally from Peru, she completed dual undergraduate degrees in psychology and theology as well as a Masters in International Development. Yenny is actively pursuing social justice cause with a focus on advocacy and solidarity.
North American Regional Intern: Vicky Gillon
Vicky Gillon will be working with the US Student Christian Movement Advisory Board and the WSCF-North America Regional Committee through the 2017/18 year. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and currently attends school at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. She will be assisting the North America Regional Executive Committee, SCM-USA and the WSCF-NA Board in implementing programs and events surrounding social, environmental and economic justice on both a local and global level. She is also hoping to be involved in fundraising, capacity and movement building, leadership training, and advocacy and solidarity – and looks forward to becoming more involved in the global WSCF movement.
North American Communications Coordinator: Michelle Both
Michelle Both joined WSCF-NA to support the North American Executive Staff & Regional Committee through implementing communications strategies, building the new website, managing content, updating social media channels, and producing promotional materials for outreach, events, and campaigns as needed.
She lives in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada and has a background in non-profit communications. She first became involved with SCM Canada in Toronto joining Pilgrimage of Resistance, retreats, and attending the G20 Prayer Vigil, and years later helped found Cahoots Festival.
